Corsair Flash Voyager GT USB flash drive

Corsair Flash Voyager GTThe Corsair Flash Voyager GT USB flash drive is different to most USB drives.  Not only has the manufacturer gone out to create a fast drive, but they also created a robust one too.

Performance:

The drive is blazingly fast - 34MB/s read and 28MB/s write speeds are possible on systems with a fast USB port under low load.  This means that it's ample fast enough to be used as a ReadyBoost drive for Windows Vista (where you need 2.5MB/sec throughput for 4K random reads and 1.75MB/sec throughput for 512K random writes).

Robustness:

The secret to the Corsair Flash Voyager GT USB flash drive's robustness is the chunky red and black rubber outer shell which is designed to resist falls, crushes and immersion in water.  It's perfectly capable of surviving being driven over, going through a wash cycle or being frozen inside a block of ice.
