Garmin GPS Firmware Updates
October sees the release of new firmware updates for Garmin GPS receivers. On the list of receivers are:
- eTrex Legend
- eTrex Venture/Mariner
- eTrex Vista
- Geko 201
- Geko 301
- GPS V
- StreetPilot 2610/2650
- GPSMAP 295
These fixes seem to relate to potential memory corruption problem that can happen when tracking more than one WAAS satellite simultaneously or improvements/corrections for WAAS support.
Also released is an update to Garmin MapSource, taking that to version 5.3.
